The Consultant assigned will provide the Services to Client described below. On-site work shall be required. Each week, the Consultant will meet with the Client Coordinator to discuss the tasks for the week, set priorities, and determine time-lines. Local resources preferred. This qualified candidate will provide project, program and operational support to information security personnel and information security governance groups under the Risk Management department. The consultant will also provide consultation services to business unit operations groups and site management teams. This will include support of business requirements by analyzing risk, recommending and / or designing mitigating solutions in accordance with federal regulations, site procedures, customer contractual requirements and corporate policy and standards. The selected consultant will work on issues involving and impacting leading edge and/or future technologies and business issues to accomplish critical and long-term business objectives.
The Consultant's primary responsibilities will be to perform the following tasks:
Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
Perform level 1 SOC activities as eyes on glass
Perform tasks in enVision as required
Conduct Access Administration for the SaaS environment as required
The consultant's skill-set must include:
Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and log monitoring. Specifically RSA enVision
2 - 3 years of experience performing SOC monitoring and analysis preferred
Strong experience in information security and conducting security level work in large enterprise companies
3 - 5 years or more of experience in Information Security and/or IT Risk Management Operations
An understanding of technology and industry leading standards and processes
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Industry Standard Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.) preferred
Excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
