What You Will Do:
The Employment Specialist will be responsible for developing, directing, and providing work-related services to persons with mental illnesses, utilizing an assertive outreach model as a member of a self-contained interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include assessing strengths and needs, and planning and implementing an on-going employment strategy to enable each person served to obtain and retain a job.
Who You Are:
Graduate with MA in rehabilitation counseling or related field required.
At least 1 year experience providing vocational/employment services required.
At least 1 year of supervised experience in providing individualized job development and supported employment on behalf of persons with mental health issues preferred.
Individual Placement & Support (IPS) training/experience preferred.
Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) or Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation required.
