What you will do:
We are looking to expand our pastry team as the bakery gets busier! As a member of the pastry team, pastry assistants will execute all tasks related to assembling, mixing, and finishing pastries while adhering to Eva's Little Kitchen's vision, culture, and team values.
The ideal pastry assistant has experience working with high-volume pastry production.
They will be working with laminated doughs, bread production, cake assembly, pies, and pastries.
Our menu is always growing and evolving, so comfort with change is a must.
We are willing to train passionate candidates, who are eager, curious, and excited by innovation, challenge, and an exciting menu.
This position reports directly to our Executive Pastry Chef.
Responsibilities and
Qualifications:
Experience with laminated doughs, cake production, breads, cookies, breakfast pastries, and composed desserts Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Subscribe to set standards for displays and portion sizes Able to take direction from management Work quickly and efficiently, ability to multitask is a must Properly label and store ingredients Maintain a clean workspace Basic math skills Attention to detail A flexible schedule, especially during the holidays Ability to lift 50 pounds If interested in applying for this position, please respond to this ad with your resume and when you're available for an interview and stage.
