Acquisition Specialist/Program Manager SME with Security Clearance

Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a PM acquisition support to provide the government program manager with the Acquisition specialist to provide the government program manager with comprehensive skills and acquisition support to achieve program cost, schedule, performance, and quality objectivesResponsibilities Duties includ e, but not limited to:
o Serves as deputy backfill when requiredo Applies subject matter expertise to various project/ program initiativeso Identifies programmatic issues and develops recommendations to facilitate issues resolutiono Advises on all resource management issues pertaining to the evaluation of effective resource performance across the portfolioo Serves as a branch integrator ensuring all program's briefings & charts meet proper formato Advises on responses to senior leadershipo Advises the government program manager on best practiceso Outlines policy disconnects, interpretation, and management of all acquisition effortso Assist the Program Manager in management of day-to-day program activities, to include:
integrated master scheduling, contract actions (including proposal technical evaluations and materials/ labor hours estimating), action item resolution, execution of requirements and plans, management of technical/program related issues, development of comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation plans, and test support to include operational assessment of advanced technologieso Creates and assists in developing acquisition program documentation required by DoD 5000 series supporting program efforts and acquisition milestones/reviews applying knowledge of streamlined acquisition policies/procedures and program management skillso Assist with the definition, development, documentation and management of user requirements; building on existing requirements management processes to identify, review and approve inherent and new capability needs to support a larger user community and enterprise objectives (to include assisting in conducting Industry Days, user/requirement working groups, developing implementation strategies, etc.
)o Prepares Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation consisting of Statements of Objectives, Statements of Work, Program Specifications, Contract Data Requirements Lists, etcper DoD 5000 serieso Supports the development of strategies and associated budgets to efficiently and effectively execute programs, planning, facilitation, coordination of agendas, action items, and technical/program issues related to management, technical and test reviews to include requirements and design reviews, audits, and requirements meetings, etc.
o Assists in the development and execution of strategies and budgets to efficiently execute programso Monitors effectiveness of achieving program/enterprise goats and objectives; to include monitoring cost, schedule and technical performance and associated riskso Prepare/update briefings and reports as required Qualifications Minimum Required

Top Secret (with a current investigation within the past 5 years) or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation and SCI/SAP/SAR eligible Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required Years'
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of DoD and/or DoD contractor acquisition support experienceo Prime contract management experienceo Knowledge of DOD 5000 Series Defense Acquisition System Documentationo Software and/or Information Technology program-related cost/schedule/technical management experience requiredo Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to proactively engage with and advise government and contractor supporto Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) requiredo Proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word requiredo Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to proactively engage with and advise government and contractor supporto SAP/SAR experience highly desired Preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
