Occupational Health Nurse
The Occupational Health Nurse will support the work-related medical needs of our global workforce across our manufacturing, laboratory, office, and remote work locations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Implement COVID protocols to include coordinating testing resources and responding to employee questions and concerns.
- Lead COVID contact tracing for employees that test positive, provide return to work guidance, and coordinate site communications.
- Administer the Occupational Health program, including the coordination of medical surveillance and occupational immunizations, the assessment and referral of work-related injuries and illnesses, and the management of confidential employee medical records.
- Administer the Worker's Compensation program by participating in incident investigations, submitting claims, providing case management, and referring accommodation requests to HR.
- Perform office ergonomic assessments for remote and satellite office employees (virtually) and recommending workstation improvements to minimize their ergonomics risks.
- Coordinate First Aid/CPR/AED training, blood drives, and flu clinics for EHS site leads.
- Collaborate with other members of EHS team, such as site EHS leads, industrial hygienists, and safety professionals to improve health and wellness, and reduce occupational health risks.
