The RoleReporting to the Director of IT Systems and Collaboration, the Senior Systems Administrator is part of a highly visibly team delivering complex solutions to a global organization.
In addition to supporting day-to-day systems operations, the Senior Systems Administrator is required to perform the system analysis and design necessary to install various systems and maintain high levels of security, data protection and performance.
The Senior Systems Administrator, along with other members of the IT team will play a critical role in helping AspenTech further define its system, network, and security strategy across our global organization using Scalability, Automation, Cloud First, and Zero Trust as guiding themes.
This role will require you to solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; regularly work on moderately complexmid-sized projects, analysis, and activities.
Your Impact Operational Support:
responsible for day-to-day support and advancement of our global computing infrastructure.
This includes areas such as identity and access management, compute, storage, DNS, DHCP, Active directory and Azure AD.
Server administration:
Administer IT systems like SCCM, Intune, Print, DC's, SFTP; patching, backups; maintenance and repair.
Script administration:
Develop and maintain shell, batch and other scripts that are used in IT business processes.
O365:
Administration of applications, services, data, devices, usage data analysis, report creation within the Microsoft O365 environment.
Documentation:
document deployed environments, including, topology diagrams, and SOPs, technical communications.
Change Management:
Ensure that standardized methods, processes, and procedures are used for all changes, and maintain the proper balance between the need for a change and the detrimental impact of achange.
What You'll Need 5-8 years of experience.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering fields.
Microsoft Certifications like MCP and MCT will be considered an advantage.
Experience with Windows operating systems.
Linux knowledge a plus.
Experience with networking fundamentals like routing, switching, VPN, SD-WAN, Load Balancing.
Experience with security fundamentals like least privilege, IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, Trusted Endpoints.
In depth practical knowledge managing Enterprise Environments with divergent technologies and development teams.
Communication skills - both oral and written are crucial to this role.
Ability to work closely with members of the Systems and Collaboration team, end users and stakeholders.
Occasional ability to travel is preferred.
Recommended Skills Active Directory Group Administration Automation Business Processes Change Management Cloud Computing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
