Webb, New England's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Office Administrator / Receptionist for its Bedford, MA location.
Responsibilities:
Answer Phones, data entry, and assist in all aspects of branch billing process.
Oversee filing system for all accounts payable documents.
Process cash and credit card payments Open, stamp and sort incoming mail Accounts Payable - review journals, and process/prepare invoices for payment.
Interact with Webb vendors to procure proper documents and data.
Perform numerous other branch office duties as assigned by Operations Manager
Qualifications:
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Ability to multi-task, must be strong with details and possess strong organizational skills.
Work proficiently with minimal supervision and be able to provide feedback on systems/processes.
Knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word) PC /Data Entry skills required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
