Employment Duration:
Summer Season
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of landscape design and installation projects.
Work alongside experienced landscapers to learn and implement various landscaping techniques.
Perform tasks such as planting, mulching, weeding, and pruning to maintain the health and beauty of landscapes.
Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment under supervision.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Assist in the construction of hardscape features, such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Learn about plant materials, soil types, and irrigation systems used in landscaping projects.
Gain exposure to sustainable landscaping practices and environmentally friendly techniques.
Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Enthusiasm for landscaping, horticulture, and outdoor work.
Currently pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field, is a plus Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
Availability to work on weekends, if needed.
