Senior Test Engineer

DCS Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Engineer providing support to the HBB/ Kessel Run (KR) Division.


This is a full time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.


Essential Job Functions:


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:


  • Documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end- user operational testing.
  • Using design of experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
  • Independently prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
  • Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity.
  • Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.
  • Devise new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.
  • Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification).
  • Deconflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.
  • Operate with general instructions; but select portions of work are reviewed in detail to measure adequacy of approach, execution, and presentation.
  • Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing.
  • Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.

Required Skills:


Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.


A Bachelor's Degree in a professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited educational program plus 8 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in a DoD setting.


Active Secret security clearance.


Test Manager's Course certification or course completion desired.


Experience with Agile methods, including testing methods for CI/CD, DevSecOps and DevOps.


Experience with DoD Test and Processes.


Understanding of cloud architectures and impacts to testing methods.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
