Job Highlights Seeking a highly motivated and independent office admin who is organized and has the ability to multi-task. This individual should be a problem solver who takes initiative and has the ability to anticipate the needs of management and staff. The candidate should have experience working in a large and diverse organization with strong operational awareness and people skills to work within a fast paced department. The candidate is expected to handle complex tasks that require initiative, versatility, and sound judgment in a dynamic environment. The ability to track tasking and communicate status is a must.
Candidate must be able to determine priorities of conflicting work assignments and to recommend solutions and seek additional resources where needed to complete complex assignments on schedule. Candidate is expected to work as an effective member of a team consisting of other office support staff, technical staff, and personnel from other support organizations and to interact professionally with both MITRE and client personnel.

Key Functions Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
o Backup other administrative staff at various levels in a team environment
oPreparation and archiving of sensitive and privileged personnel information.
oPreparation of technical documents, briefings, and formal correspondence using the MITRE approved templates and forms
oCalendar management and meeting coordination
oTravel arrangements and reimbursement processing
oPreparation and tracking of bill of materials, purchase requisitions, and ship orders
o Schedule meetings to include AV, catering , security
o Monitor timecards and compliance
o Support space allocations, moves, computer and network installation
o Procure office supplies and equipment; maintain MITRE purchase card and associated logs
o Maintain awareness of Corporate and Center-specific administrative, security and personnel policies and procedures
oSupport hiring activities
Location MA: Bedford Campus
Preferred Qualifications Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required.
Must be willing to learn new tools/skills as required. Experience with Visio and Adobe Acrobat desirable. Strong administrative and organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy required. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter willing to take initiative, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing customer requirements. The candidate should be dependable, possess strong communication skills, professionalism, and have a positive attitude; a team player who can also work well independently.
Minimum Education/ Experience High school diploma or equivalent, plus 3 years of experience the equivalent in job-relevant work experience
Travel Statement This position will require overnight travel up to 5 % of the time as well as some local travel.
Clearance? Secret
Clearance Statement Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, MITRE will consider only applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
