Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications. Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field; plus six months of work experience in job offered or in a computer engineering-related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1) Design and implement automated test suites utilizing scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, Python; 2) Experience with IP telephony protocols (SIP, RTP, Diameter); 3) LAN/WAN networking protocols (IP, SNMP, DNS, BGP, OSPF); 4) Network monitoring tools such as Wireshark; 5) Experience operating in a Linux environment. Experience may be gained concurrently.
