Job Highlights The Air Force C3I&N Portfolio is seeking a professional Office Administrator to provide full time support to the portfolio director and senior level staff. This is a high visibility position that will require the selected candidate to assist the Portfolio Director, Portfolio Managers, and senior staff. This position will also require interaction with the Sponsor and their administrative assistant.

Key Functions Administrative tasks include but are not limited to:
o Interact professionally with MITRE Senior Leadership and Sponsors; establish and maintain strong working relationship with their office staff and administrative assistants.
o Maintain calendars by organizing meetings, conferences, and luncheons, both on and off-site, to include coordinating services (AV, catering, security, etc.)
o Assemble background materials for meetings and briefings, assist in compiling, posting and electronically organizing such information as necessary.
o Skilled with Microsoft Office applications and able assist in the preparation of correspondence, documents, reports, and briefings according to MITRE standards. Organize outgoing correspondence for distribution; assist in the tracking of documents delivered to sponsors.
o Make both domestic and international travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, as well as file domestic and foreign travel expense vouchers.
o Support the maintenance of SharePoint sites ensuring that materials are appropriated uploaded and updated.
o Provide support at meetings by preparing agendas, gathering briefings, taking meeting minutes and noting action items.
o Process public release requests, track action items and suspense dates.
o Anticipate, analyze, and proactively react to changes in priorities and tasks; Demonstrate proactive initiative, creativity and follow-through on a broad range of administrative actions.
o Answer and screen telephone calls, respond to routine questions, route calls to appropriate staff and/or relay messages.
o Maintain correspondence logs and address/contact files
oMaintain current information on key personnel.
o Maintain awareness of Corporate and Center-specific administrative, security and personnel policies and procedures
Location MA: Bedford Campus
Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, plus 3 years of experience the equivalent in job-relevant work experience.
Experience providing administrative support to senior leadership and a dynamic staff
o Knowledge of MITRE systems and policies preferred
o Strong attention to detail
o Strong organizational skills
o Strong oral/written communication
o Discretion in handling personnel matters
o Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, o Excel and SharePoint.
Minimum Education/ Experience High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of experience or the equivalent in job-relevant work experience
Travel Statement This position will require overnight travel up to 10 % of the time as well as some local travel.
Clearance Not Required
Clearance Statement Security Clearance is not required for this initial assignment. However for future opportunities a government security investigation may be required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
