Dental Assistant
As the Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist in many aspects of direct patient care and perform other clinical and clerical functions independently of direct supervision.
The duties of this position include but are not limited to:
sets up operatory and/or surgery suite for planned dental procedure and cleans dental unit for timely turnover;prepares dental medicaments and impression materials per manufacturer's instructions; assists in routine and specialized dental procedures; demonstrates proper infection control procedures in exposing images; assists patients in scheduling appointments; pours impressions and prepares study models; removes sutures and periodontal surgical dressings;provides post-operative and other appropriate patient care.
