The Business Intelligence Analyst will be a key member of the Commercial Business Intelligence team. The BI analyst will be responsible for development, implementation, and support of the BI/Reporting solutions and commercial data management efforts.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to translate business information needs into well-defined data requirements that will be used to implement the required BI solutions.
Work closely with all levels of business audiences to clearly define reporting requirements in support of strategic and tactical decision making. This encompasses the entire BI reporting cycle from standard reports, ad-hoc analysis, to dashboards maintenance.
Work closely with data warehouse architect team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain BI/Reporting solutions according to functional specifications.
Work with data architects and business partners to validate rules regarding data integrity and data quality as it relates to the impact on business requirements
Define and document the use of BI through user experience/use cases, prototypes and detailed functional requirements for all levels of user audience/knowledge workers
Analyze reports and data to identify and articulate trends, outliers, quality issues, and continuously evaluate report validity and suggest improvements.
Provide ongoing support to ensure availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for external and internal users.
Desired Skills & Experience
MUST HAVES:
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, MIS, or Computer Science) or equivalent experience
3-5 years total work experience
Qlikview experience, specifically in development of the software

years hands-on experience in developing and deploying Enterprise BI / Reporting solutions across multiple application domains and data sources using BI tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, etc.

Technical experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 or Oracle databases

years experience in gathering business intelligence and data/data warehouse requirements working directly with the end user community
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of computer tools, financial analysis, economics, accounting, financial theory.
Knowledge of SAP
PREFERRED:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead a diverse audience through presentations
Effective problem solving, collaborative, and analytical skills
Project Management Skill an advantage
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
OTHER SKILLS &
Experience:
Experience defining requirements for metrics/scorecards, dashboards, OLAP analysis, ad-hoc, and structured reports for business audiences that have limited exposure to BI capabilities
Detailed knowledge of BI Best Practices/Methodologies, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques
Ability to facilitate stakeholder interviews and design sessions
Knowledge of Data Hygiene, Data Management and Data Processing best practice and regulations.
Demonstrable evidence of advanced Excel knowledge, including data handling and manipulation techniques such as lookups and pivots. VBA an advantageEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
