Not required This is a Bargaining Unit position. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements within 15 days of the closing date of this announcement, 08/21/2020. Time-In-Grade Requirement:
Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS 05 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS 04. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS 04 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Sorts claims received and maintains a log of claims sent out for processing; determines supplies needed, submitting supply requests, receiving and storing supplies; receives calls, greets visitors, and directs to staff members; protects the information in the patient system; and responds to verbal or written inquiries. OR, Education:
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have 4 years above high school. OR, Combination:
Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education. Please note only education in excess of 60 semester hours is creditable. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily sedentary, but will consist of some standing, walking, carrying light objects such as letters, files, reports of procedures, reports of operations, lab results, entering data, sitting/standing. Concentration and sustained performance under prolonged stress is required because of the time factors involved in completing work within monthly deadlines and processing time limits. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
