Program Analyst

Provides administrative support for educational proposals and grants management activities related to training; Develops recommendations and proposals based on analysis of data provided, for efficiency and improvement of medical education programs; Works closely with and all services to implement revisions or work processes, or interrelated functions to ensure appropriate actions are taken regarding all Graduate Medical Education (GME) Resident trainees; Maintains communication with medical school affiliates to keep abreast of any changes that occur during the year; Registers all trainees in the New Person Class File and into the Registration Program for tracking purposes; Develops recommendations and proposals based on analysis of data provided, for efficiency and improvement of medical education programs; Maintains a master list of all affiliation agreements and assures they are current and follow VA required format; Processes incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda emails, and other forms of written communication; and Works with a variety of external contacts, including associated health universities, other affiliated hospital program directors, as well as trainees and employees, to negotiate with the affiliate fiscal managers or affiliate program officials to accept and implement findings and recommendations on organizational improvements or program effectiveness. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS 09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS 07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR, Combination:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
